Lost Bear combines cutting-edge VR, super-high production design values, intuitive game-play and a compelling story, delivered within a charming 2d virtual set-design. One of the best VR games on the market, period.

Entrant's description

The Lost Bear’ is a cinematic 2D VR platformer with a hand painted art style that combines a 2D storybook aesthetic with a 3D virtual theatre. Set in a strange and abandoned world, the story follows Walnut as she is pulled from the safety of her brother. Bravely venturing out on her own Walnut has to overcome her fears and save her beloved teddy from the clutches of the Toy Snatcher.

Entrant's description

Code Computerlove's The Higher Lower Game asks players to guess which of two Google search terms is most popular. It began as a responsive web game and was quickly developed into a mobile app. With a cleverly thought through outreach strategy, the game quite simply ‘went massive’ - spreading virally across the globe, being played billions of times. It was picked up by the world’s most subscribed to YouTuber PewDiePie who posted a video of himself playing the game and there are now more than 113,000 similar videos of the game being played.
