It's now less than a week to go until the entry deadline for the Big Chip Awards 2014, with entries closing on March 17th. Your work will speak for itself.The event is always good fun and just being shortlisted is a great excuse to attend to mix with your peers for a beer or two.   3. The Big Chip Awards ceremony is legendary. Best Use of Search 2013 – Al Fresco Holidays  1. Can you tell us any ways that winning a Big Chip has helped your business - for example by raising your profile, making you stand out or leading directly to new business?We regularly cite our success as a big chip winner when pitching for new work. Very few awards are judged appropriately by knowledgeable peers so out of all the awards we've achieved we're most proud of our Big Chip awards. It's refreshing to see categories scrapped due to low quality of entries rather just kept in to sell table space. 2. What advice would you give to any digital companies who are thinking of entering the Big Chip Awards 2014?Read the criteria thoroughly and ensure you provide evidence of why your work has achieved the objectives that were set. 3. The Big Chip Awards ceremony is legendary. Do you have any good stories from previous events that you want to share? I had to put one of our employees in a taxi once after he'd spent a large portion of the evening stalking Bill Bailey. He was determined to moon the remaining people at the bar but we managed to keep his trousers up. I believe he went home and redecorated the apartment a lovely ruby red wine colour much to the displeasure of his better half. 

Best Use of Visual Design, Best Use of Gaming and Grand Prix Winner 2013 for Eufloria HD  1. Can you tell us any ways that winning a Big Chip has helped your business - for example by raising your profile, making you stand out or leading directly to new business?As a game developer, winning at the Big Chips raised our profile amongst the wider digital media audience who we wouldn't have otherwise been engaged with. 2. What advice would you give to any digital companies who are thinking of entering the Big Chip Awards 2014?The competition is strong but the opportunity to be nominated, or perhaps win, is too good to miss! The awards a very fair, evidenced by our triple win with a very left field entry, from a relatively unknown company. 3. The Big Chip Awards ceremony is legendary.
