"As part of their Content Marketing Strategy for Bensons for Beds, Red C highlighted the benefits of creating a History of the Bed video infographic to generate brand awareness and inbound links to the Client's new website.Having researched and written a script and produced initial designs. Red C approached Kilogramme to create the animation. Kilogramme used their animation expertise to cleverly take us on a journey throughout the ages and show off how beds have evolved.The Composer Works were then commissioned to write a suitable piece of music that would reflect the styles and ages of the animation."

The strength of the animation sector in the region means this is always a tough category to judge, and this year was no exception. The eventual winner is a beautiful piece of work that takes a simple idea and uses it to create a spellbinding journey that illustrates the breadth of the client's offering.

Nord Anglia Education is a leader in the international provision of high quality, innovative education, training and guidance for children and young adults. Our multi-language brand movie was conceived to communicate their company vision to a global audience, to spearhead their recent rebrand. This was designed for two uses. Firstly to communicate the new vision for the brand at an internal launch for all employees within the company. Secondly, to communicate this vision to market. Through a mixture of techniques our animation explored and expanded upon the brand vision, to complement the 'classic English' educational values of Nord Anglia.

Bon Appetit is about a young girl who has her ice-cream stolen by a monster. Not willing to give up her ice-cream so easily she begins a quest to retrieve it. She discovers that she may not be the only victim of icecream theft that day!..burp

The judges said

The winning animation clearly shows the creative flair and technical prowess of the agency responsible for it. A bittersweet narrative is successfully brought to life by clever characterization, faultless attention to detail and precise timing. These world class animators have given the metal protagonist a distinct and winning expression and an endearing personality.

Entrant's description

A CGI short highlighting the plight of a forgotten victim of the credit crunch. A robot whose film was canceled - leaving him without a home. The animation was sent as a viral, and uploaded to the usual places just before Christmas as a piece of self-promotion for ahd.
